Jan Dries is invited by the Henraux Foundation. There the artist meets Henry Moore, who expresses his appreciation of the still young artist’s oeuvre. The sculpture’s title refers to Jozef Peeters, a painter who was an honorary member of the G58-Hessenhuis Group. Jan Dries is one of the founding members of this group. At the Hessenhuis abstract art receives renewed attention.
